The HONDA Big Wing 10K Run, Hyderabad, is a premier running event, scheduled to take place at the renowned Gachibowli Stadium on April 13, 2025, Sponsored and Promoted by Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India, in Association with few NGO's aims to bring together people from all walks of life to celebrate mobility and support causes that make a difference. The proceeds generated will be directed towards child education and healthcare in equal proportions, ensuring a brighter future for those in need.The HONDA Big Wing Run is supported by the Telangana Police, and the Sports Authority of Telangana, ensuring a safe and seamless experience for all participants. The course will inspire runners to take every step with purpose, championing the causes of mobility, childeducation, and healthcare, creating a ripple effect of positive change in countless lives.

What distinguishes Indira Park Tribe from other running groups is its unique dynamics. The group adheres to the principle of "All for the Group &amp; Group is for All," and comprises like-minded individuals who find pleasure in running. Watching the sunrise, admiring the beauty of nature, and running with friends are all enjoyable activities for the group. The group's formation began with the Couch to 5K training, 2020 conducted by Hyderabad Runners , and the members became a close-knit community that learns and unlearns from one another. The group is competitive and fun-loving, and it adheres to the best training practices for activities such as cycling, swimming, trekking, strength training, and yoga. The group boasts ultra-marathoners who are our star runners. The group has many mentors, regular and seasonal runners who have made significant contributions to the community. Running with the group involves valuable discussions about nutrition, diets, strength training, hydration, and running form. Our favorite running routes include Indira Park, Sanjeevaiah Park, Necklace road loop, Hill Fort road, and OU campus. The group conducts interval training on IP &amp; NTR Marg road, hill training on Hill Fort road, and occasional SLRs on OU campus. The group's absolute favorite route is the Necklace road loop for both SLR and regular training. We hope that more people will appreciate the importance of staying fit and adopt practices such as running, cycling, swimming, and other activities in their busy schedules to build a stronger and fitter India. The group is a united family that stands by its motto. On 20th April 2025, we will be conducting Indira Park Tribe's 'The Village Run 3rd Edition'&nbsp;to celebrate our 3rd Edition of Village Run at a farmhouse located in Shamshabad. The Seventh Edition of the WHITATHON RUN will be organized on
 Sunday, May 18, 2025, at the
 University of Hyderabad, Hyderabad. The run will start at 5:30 am.&nbsp;
 Whitathon Run is L V Prasad Eye Institute's&nbsp;annual cause-related event, supported by Hyderabad Runners. The goal is to raise awareness and funds for early diagnosis and treatment of Retinoblastoma, a life-threatening eye cancer in children.&nbsp;


One of the most common symptoms of Retinoblastoma is a White Reflex&nbsp;(white glow) in a child’s
 eye. Through this run we want to raise awareness among the public that if they spot a ‘White Reflex’ in a child’s
 eye, it could be a sign of eye cancer that needs immediate medical intervention. The funds raised through this run
 help us provide free treatment to children from underprivileged families with retinoblastoma.&nbsp; The inaugural edition of this event was organized in 2018, and ever since, the community of runners, supporters, and enthusiasts has grown leaps and bounds. Through the funds we raised, we've provided free treatment to many underprivileged children diagnosed with retinoblastoma. This is a costly and prolonged treatment. Furthermore, the funds raised also enabled us to conduct research into novel treatment options for this alarming disease.

 
Why awareness is needed:&nbsp;
· Retinoblastoma (eye cancer) most commonly affects children below 3 years (90%).&nbsp;
· 20 to 25% of cases of eye cancer worldwide in children are from India. 50% of cases worldwide lose their lives due
 to late detection and inadequate treatment.&nbsp;
· Retinoblastoma is curable if the tumour is detected and treated early; saving the child's life, eye, and
 vision.&nbsp;
· Over the past decade, LVPEI has treated more than 2500 patients with retinoblastoma eye cancer.&nbsp;
· Though it was possible to save the child's life in 90% of the cases, the eyesight of the child could be saved in
 only 45% of the cases, the reason being the late presentation of the case.&nbsp;
· Hence, it is important to raise awareness about the common symptoms of retinoblastoma in children and educate the
 public (especially young parents) on the importance of seeking timely medical care.&nbsp; 

&nbsp;Why funds are needed:&nbsp;
· Retinoblastoma treatment plans are expensive and long.&nbsp;
· Over 60 to 65% of these patients cannot afford the cost of treatment.
· Thanks to the funds received from such cause-related events and donations, LVPEI can provide free treatment to
 children from underprivileged families.&nbsp;
